Rob Putnam
Colorado Athletic Club-Boulder
Aquatics Director
We are happy to announce Rob Putnam as the Aquatics Director for Colorado Athletic Club-Boulder. Rob's roots started in Longmont where he attended Longmont High School. As a swimmer for the Longmont Falcon's, Rob achieved All-American status specializing in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. After High School Rob made his way to the University of Kansas where he was a team captain for the Jayhawks. After a successful collegiate career Rob couldn't wait to move back to the Boulder area and that he did.
Since Rob returned from Kansas he has dedicated his professional career to engaging all athletic abilities in the sport of swimming. Whether you are just learning or want the area's finest instruction in swimming technique to further your swimming goals, Rob knows how to help you get the most out of the sport. With a focus on quality over quantity it also means you can get in and out of the pool in time to enjoy a post-swim bike ride or time to swim with the family.
Rob is excited to bring his 13 years of coaching experience and love for swimming to Colorado Athletic Club-Boulder's 25 meter saline pools. Rob is just beginning his program planning and is excited to begin responding to your questions around December 1.
