Enhance Your Athletic Conditioning with Yoga

Improve your strength, flexibility, balance and coordination

Minimize the imbalances, injuries and lack of proprioception in your body

Join us for this dynamic yoga workshop with Ashley Simpson Shires, who will guide you through postures and breathing techniques, specifically targeted for athletes such as cyclists, runners and skiiers (although all athletes are welcome!)

Pilates Based Conditioning for Low Back Pain

with Di Bartko

Review anatomoy of low back or lubosacral area of the spine

Learn and practice exercises designed to enhance dynamic pelvic stabilization and spine support

Identify the muscles that support the lubosacral area: hamstrings, gluteals, quadriceps, adductors and abdominals

Translate the movements and control learned in the exercises to everyday activities without compromising elasticity or strength

Explore your relationship to gravity, your strength from fingertips to toes, and your mental focus

Revitalize yoru circulatory, immune and endocrine systems by inscreasing the flow of bolld, lymphatic fluids and energy

Learn alignment and safety and modifications of the family of inversion asanas (poses) including headstand, handstand, downward dog and shoulder stand

All levels
