In a time where the Internet is literally at everyone’s fingertips, television programs like The Biggest Loser have millions of viewers, and we’re told we should eat “healthy fat” at the same time a popular diet book says to avoid apples because they’re high in carbohydrates, wellness information is abundant and ever-changing. And it obviously can be downright confusing.
Through our partnerships we offer expert advice from certified professionals who provide a well-rounded approach to health.
This includes everything from recommended physical activities and smart food choices to clever ways to burn more calories and what’s fact vs. fiction in weight loss and exercise.
We distribute this advice to your employees as a monthly tip and also cover their specific needs, concerns and interests. Please tell your Corporate Partner Representative what subjects would have the most impact on your associates, and also provide the e-mail addresses that will receive these eFitTips. (if you prefer these tips be presented on paper, we can do that, too).
Website Cross Promotions
As business gets more and more competitive - and health officials point out that more than two-thirds of American adults are overweight - offering a corporate fitness partnership has become extremely important.
Almost half (45 percent) of American workers at small- to medium-sized companies would stay at their jobs longer because of employer-sponsored wellness programs, according to the latest Principal Financial Well-Being Index. With rising health-care costs a top concern, workers say wellness programs help them to improve their physical health and reduce stress thereby decreasing the number of sick days and reducing health care costs.
In an effort to increase your profile as a healthy company, we recommend including your logo and/or special employee fitness offers on our website. We can have that information on a public or a private page so how aggressive you want to be is your decision. Let us know how we can customize this option for your company.
New Hire Packet
In addition to helping employees sustain healthier habits, corporate wellness programs also reduce stress, increase employee job satisfaction, increase employee morale, and aid in employee recruitment and retention.
We want to make a significant difference with each and every one of your current employees when we launch our partnership, but we also know that you are constantly recruiting new associates.
With that in mind, we want your staff to be fully equipped in order to present this health and wellness benefit with ease. A brief discussion with your Human Resources department should give us a solid estimate of your recruitment needs per quarter. We can then provide the correct amount of New Hire Partnership & Club information to your company. Incoming employees will then be informed, and can utilize the partnership to its maximum.
Annual Events
Throughout our partnership, we will run many programs that are based around your specific requests. But beyond doing the expected, we will also host two annual events that include all of our corporate partners.
Our goal is to keep employees energized, and to encourage everyone to take advantage of this benefit.
The annual events will give all of your employees a minimum of 10 days free access to our club, prizes for participation, and will typically include complimentary sessions with one our certified trainers or instructors.
Look for these annual events in May and October. We will provide the promotional material so you can generate interest and excitement amongst your team. Just tell us what marketing pieces would be most useful and then distribute those around your office(s).
Corporate Champion
The realities of the economy are that workdays are longer and weekends are shorter. You are already busy and we understand that you may need assistance from another associate to make this program a success. Help is on the way in the form of a Corporate Champion. Choose two employees and have them assist in the implementation of any or all of the program components. These Champions can receive additional perks from our club and/or have the opportunity to earn additional benefits for your company through competitions against other Corporate Champions.
This component is not required, but we can put this program into action if you feel it would enhance the partnership.
