Group Fitness Class Descriptions

 

 

Balletone:  A non-impact workout with a unique blend of strength and flexibility movements, which combines classical ballet exercises with modern fitness concepts.

Barre Conditioning:  Develop strength, flexibility, and endurance while blasting calories. This workout will shape and elongate your muscles through isometric and Pilates exercises, and incorporates many exercises dancers use to condition their bodies.  Please sign up for this class at the Front Desk.  There is no extra fee, but limited space. 

Every "Body"  Bootcamp:  This class is for Every "Body."  Join us for this intense one hour workout that will leave you sweating form head to toe.  This class is perfect for the beginners as well as the fittest of the fit!

BOSU Blast Ski/Snowboard Conditioning:  Fall and Winter are coming!!!!  This is an INDOOR class, that will help prepar e you for all  Winter outdoor sports, activities, and trainings.  This 45 minute class is filled with drills, endurance, strength  and speed exercises.  Meet in room 9A

Boxing 101:  Each session will combine the art of boxing with traditional exercises and intense cardio intervals to elevate your workouts to a higher level.

You will learn how to wrap your hands, throw a variety of punches, and to defend yourself.   Boxing for fitness is a fun and highly effective workout when it is practiced correctly.  Non-contact.  All fitness levels welcome, no experience necessary.

Cardio Chisel:  Keep your heart rate elevated in this interval style class of muscular strength exercises intermixed with cardio segments.  This class is great for people looking to get cardio and weights in one hour!

Chisel:  This muscle strength workout incorporates a variety of exercises using barbells, hand weights and tubing to tone and define your entire body.

Circuit Training: 10 Stations, 10 completely different exercises!  This class will incorporate a great mixture of cardio and strength training that will be suitable for all levels of fitness! 

Core Express:  A class focusing on abdominal strength, endurance and incorporating core stabilization.

Cycle-Yoga:  Cycle-Yoga is an intense group cycling class followed by a 30 minute vinyasa yoga flow. The 30 minute cycle class brings elements of the yoga mat into a vigorous ride while 30 minutes of vinyasa yoga lengthens muscles, encourages strength, and elongates breath. The combination provides the participants both cardiovascular and strength training in a time-conscious foremat.

Extreme Boot-camp:  This 90 minute class will get you off to a great start. An intense workout combining sports conditioning and military Calisthenics.

Group Cycling:  This indoor cycling class simulates a variety of terrain and intensity.  Hills, flats, jumps, sprint interval and endurance interval training are all included.

Group Kick:  This electric 45-60 minute fusion class of martial arts and boxing movements will kick your cardio fitness to the next level. It wil lalso enhance the definition and shape of your body while improving coordination.  Energetic music, awesome intrusctors and a group environment will keep you punching, kicking and smiling

Group Power:  Your hour of power.  This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all of you major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors.  With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses, and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels.  Discover results, discover Group Power.

Karate:  Whether you are a beginner or a black belt, come train, learn and improve your skills in the art of karate

Kettlebells:  Using a variety of Kettlebells, you will get a full body workout.  Strength training as well as endurance will be key components to this class.

Plyometrics:  A type of exercise training designed to produce fast, powerful movements, and improve the functions of the nervous system and helps enhance all physical performance. 
This will be an intense 30 minute workout

Sports Training:  A combination of agility, speed, strength and plyometrics for a total body workout. This class will prepare you for the slopes or the game field.

Tabata Training: To be considered one of THE most intense cardio workouts out there!  This Interval styled class will help you burn fat and gain lean muscle mass.   All types of exercises and equipment will be used.

TRX Circuit: A variety of TRX suspension Exercises mixed in with free weights, BOSU'S, Fit Balss and a whole lot of other equipment to give you a combination that will leave you feeling like a million dollars!
This class is FREE to all members!

TRX Kettlebells: This class will utilize TRX suspemsion Training and the Kettlebells,  This one of a kind class, will work you both muscularly and cardio vascularly to the FULLEST.  This class is free to all members

Yoga Sculpt: This total body workout is designed to tone and sculpt every muscle group in your body. You will use free weights as you move through sun salutations and other Yoga postures enabling extra length and depth in each pose.

Zip:  Get in-Get out
This is a 30 minute Strength Training class that will work your whole body in a Zip.  Join Stephanie on the 7th Floor for this incredible workout!

Zumba:  Zumba fuses motivating Latin music, easy to follow movements and an international zest to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. Ditch the workout and join the party
